New high-performance glazing meets NFRC energy standard requirements and supports Title 24 compliance

The company’s newly developed double-glazed Low-E insulated glass achieves U-Factor as low as 0.23 Btu/hr·ft²·°F and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) as low as 0.19, setting a new standard in energy-efficient fenestration solutions for global markets.

This glass system has been tested and calculated according to ASHRAE and NFRC 100-2010 standards and is designed to support NFRC certification applications and meet California Title 24 energy efficiency requirements, making it ideal for high insulation buildings in the United States and Canada.

Tested using Lambda 950 UV spectrometer and Spectrum 100 infrared analyzer.

This innovation is the result of continuous research and dedicated engineering effort. The KDSBuilding R&D team spent over 14 months optimizing glass coating formulas, spacer system design, and thermal bridge control.
